We are recruiting an experienced Buyer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
- Hybrid
- Occasional domestic travel required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the total value chain and implementation of BPro products.
- New product strategy, launch and development activities
- Vendor and key account relations
- Product business case financials
- Presentation of supply chain opportunities
- Coordination of promotions
- Product launch timing coordination
- Product bulletin review and updates
- Daily interface with multiple groups (internal and external) and disciplines with an aim of not only launching and maintaining products
- Working on strategies to encourage the dealerships, independent repair facilities, and other external distributors and resellers
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or other related major from an accredited University
- 3-5 years of experience
- Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt, negotiate and manage a project(s)
- Must be capable of managing tactical workload while developing & implementing strategies and process improvements
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Power Point, Word) and web-based applications
- Experience in SAP is not required, however would be an advantage
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with all levels of management and peers, both internally and externally
- Strong desire to grow and learn in a challenging environment
- Willingness to work in a fast paced global environment, interacting with global supplier and team members
