We are recruiting an experienced Panel Designer to join our team to support our client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop panel systems, including layout, detailing, and specification
- Navigate and interpret architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and details
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of architectural drawing standards and conventions
- Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to ensure integration with building plans and systems
- Collaborate with estimating team to provide detailed estimates and takeoffs
- Analyze design options, identify potential issues, and develop creative solutions
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Architectural technologist / architectural technologist diploma & experience
- Knowledge of architectural drawing navigation / plan, section & detail coordination integration a must
- AutoCAD 2D drafting / Revit
- 3D visualization
- Estimating experience an asset
- Thoroughness, methodology and an analytical approach
- Proactive in approach
