On behalf of our reputable, and stable Energy Industry client, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Rotating Equipment) to join their team.
NOTE:
- Requires strong mechanical systems experience
- Preference is given to candidates with experience working with fluid drives, torque converters, or power plant equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment - including machining parts, replacing worn components, and ensuring precise assembly
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings/prints to build and repair large parts
- Perform machinery maintenance ensuring reliability and safety
- Meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specification
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of practical experience in automotive or industrial in a machine repair/build environment
- Understand the principles of hydraulics and fluid mechanics
- Strong communication to relay issues, solutions and instructions to colleagues or customers
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable in a shop environment
