Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Project Delegate Support – Intermediate(Cockpit team) to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry. We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join our Team. The Advanced Cockpit Team is a critical part of the vehicle development with responsibly to ensure overall interior level feasibility and target setting.

NOTE:

  • Hybrid role (70% REMOTE – 3 days at home/30% in office)
  • Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date
  • Valid G driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Confirm the technical feasibility of future the cockpit vision definition.
  • Drive cockpit consistency of programs, platforms, and modules.
  • Lead Advanced Cockpit packaging studies and confirm technical feasibility
  • Convergence on main program targets: identify and propose arbitration for decision (total product, expenses, complexity, …)
  • Achieve Architecture deliverables for the program milestones
  • Support interior material sustainability plan and drive implementation into future cockpit programs
  • Develop and manage cockpit concepts validation though virtual and physical mock-ups

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited university. A Bachelor of Technology will not be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive development experience
  • Excellent communication and program management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex engineering topics, develop and deliver a presentation in a clear and concise way
  • Ability to make quick decisions using sound engineering logic
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to define the engineering logic behind system packaging layout solutions in the context of the vehicle/platform

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of vehicles interiors
  • Fundamental knowledge of vehicle systems interaction / integration
  • Understanding for interior requirements with regards to safety and functional requirements
  • PMP Certification
