We are recruiting an experienced Data Acquisition Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
- Onsite
- Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date
- MUST be eligible for TN VISA or equivalent
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up and conducting data acquisition using various data acquisition systems
- Coordinating test specimen build, setting up data acquisition systems, data processing, communicating with stakeholders
- Operate and conduct data acquisition at company grounds
- Lead projects from start to finish with minimal guidance
- Coordinate and instruct bargaining unit mechanics in performing vehicle instrumentation, part strain gauging and part changes
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering strongly preferred
- Detailed understanding of the data acquisition systems and various transducers used and how they interact as well as CAN communication
- Process and detail oriented individua
- Good communication and leadership skills are required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $31.80 - $36.80/hour (depending on experience)
- Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
- Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October)
