Job Description

Our client is one of the world's leading suppliers of standard and specialty foods and the world’s leading producer in the business. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join their team.

NOTE:

  • 4-8 week contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Planning and scheduling; ensuring all activities in department are prioritized on a daily and weekly timeline; communicate the plan to maintenance team
  • Ensure parts availability, working with purchasing to initiate the procurement of required parts
  • Forecast specialized maintenance requirements and develop action plans for short, medium and long term projects
  • Review and develop standard preventative maintenance plans
  • Meet with production planning to facilitate maintenance and production needs
  • Participate in root cause analysis for any machine related downtime
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to minimize equipment downtime
  • Environment/Quality: Maintaining product safety, legality and quality
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College diploma
  • 3 years' experience in the planning/scheduling of plant maintenance
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong decision-making aptitude
  • High organization skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • $36.00 - $50.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
  • Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October)
