Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager - Early Warning Detection Investigator to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conducting comprehensive preliminary ("screening") technical reviews on proactive sensing product alerts related to vehicle safety and compliance
  • Work with/lead cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Product Investigations) to determine product scope and consequence of potential product issues during preliminary technical reviews of product alerts
  • Document all required technical review information and data with sufficient detail and clarity; recommend escalation or closure actions for all product alert items and provide rationale; and provide frequent technical review status reports to Product Investigators and management
  • Provide recommendations to the Information Technology department regarding proactive sensing functional logic and continuous improvements of Predictive Analytic techniques and visualization
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS) Information Systems, or a related technical or quantitative discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university; other engineering degrees or related technical degrees with combined experience may be considered
  • 3-5 years of vehicle safety experience
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources, including field data, warranty data, service data, customer feedback with a focus on predictive analytics
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and inconsistencies and clearly summarize findings
  • Working knowledge of reporting, data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, databases, dashboards); ability to learn internal systems quickly
  • Experience supporting investigations, reporting, or program execution through timely and accurate data preparation
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to understand and break down complex data or issues into clear, actionable information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support internal stakeholders, including investigators, program managers, and leadership
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively within cross functional teams
  • Ability to clearly communicate both written and verbal to management, engineering, internal and external stakeholders
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • $44.00 - $48.00/ hour (depending on experience)
  • Cost-sharing medical & dental benefits after 30 days
  • 401K plan after 90 days
