Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced KBE Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry

NOTE:

  • Hybrid working position in Windsor, ON 2-3 days per week with the potential to be fully onsite in the future.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to the US for meetings without restrictions from first day of work
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques
  • Dictating architecture and construction techniques
  • Creating master development / packaging / requirement sections
  • Defining master template modeling structures
  • Training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques, architecture
  • Specific design commodity exterior plastic parts

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or EE) or equivalent bachelors degree with experience
  • 5+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX
  • 2+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
  • 2+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
  • 3+ Years of vehicle packaging or similar system integration experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Catia/NX modeling and an extensive background developing / packaging / synthesizing complex vehicle systems

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ Years of experience in Body, Closures, Interior, EE CAD Engineering experience
  • 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with NX

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • $40.00 - $43.57/hour (depending on experience)
  • Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
  • Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work
