We are recruiting an experienced Powertrain Engine OBD Calibration Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
- Must be willing and able to travel, without restrictions, effective on the start date
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all technical aspects of the OBD diagnostic calibrations to meet CARB regulations
- Identify system requirements during system hardware design to insure a robust diagnostic system
- Use standard instrumentation toolsets for data acquisition, storage, and analysis, calibrate diagnostic thresholds to meet CARB regulations
- Provide regular overview summaries and detailed reports on specific assignments, including timing projections
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related field.
- 3 years of experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Reading and understanding C code/software
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Data acquisition experience, preferably in an automotive or powertrain-related environment
- Experience with INCA and ETAS tools
- Internship, co-op, academic project, or hands-on experience involving data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Exposure to powertrain, engine systems, diagnostics, or vehicle testing environments
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $31.00 - $35.00/ hour (depending on experience)
