We are recruiting an experienced Software Automation Test Developer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools
- Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and test scripts
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the target under test
- Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the test management system and the defect tracking system
- Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or a WES-evaluated equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Python development
- Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie, Slash)
- Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
- Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems
- Skills Required: Python, Test Automation, .Net Framework
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
PREFFERED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)
- Experience with database (SQL)
- Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated capabilities are key qualities
- Skills Preferred: REST APIs, Test Cases, Jira, SQL
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $32.00 - $36.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
- Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October)
