We are recruiting an experienced Software Developer (Test Automation) to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies. You will develop automated test tools, libraries, and scripts, and maintain automated execution of test suites.
- Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with vehicle electronic control units (ECUs)
- Interface with development and test teams to understand feature functionality and testing requirements
- Devise test scenarios and implement automated test suites for maximum coverage
- Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or a WES-evaluated equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in test automation and tools development
- 2+ years of experience in Python development and object-oriented design
- Experience in maintaining automated execution of a large number of tests and triaging test results
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and adept at detecting and diagnosing software defects
- Skills Required: PyTorch, Automation, Linux
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
PREFFERED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Experience with Shell scripting and Linux development environment
- Experience with data analytics and visualization
- Experience with microcontrollers, electronics assembly and debugging equipment (ex, multimeter)
- Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated capabilities are key qualities
- Experience in developing tests for power domains on ECUs
- Experience in the use of power-related test equipment
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $44.00 - $48.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
- Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October)
