Job Description

On behalf of our reputable and well established client, who designs, builds and installs custom automation equipment into clients businesses in North America, we are recruiting for an experienced Product Engineer Detailer to join their team.

  • Developing and maintaining innovative robotic MIG welding products
  • Complete continuous improvement initiatives on existing products
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to problem solve and update project progress
  • Manage project priorities and deliverables
  • Supporting our customers and manufacturing team
  • Make print changes
  • Complete marked up changes
  • Completed a post-secondary program in the field of Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience
  • MUST be able to read blueprints
  • MUST be able to create blueprints
  • Strong understanding of materials, engineering theory and principles of design, particularly Design for Manufacturing and Assembly
  • Proficient user of SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience and familiarity with Design for machining and fabricating
