Job Description

Our client is a recognized industry leader in manufacturing standard and custom designed welding, spot welding, arc welding and metal working equipment. They are looking for a Corporate Quality Manager to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing the quality systems at four locations on one campus in the city of Windsor.
  • Oversee ISO9001:2015 registered quality control system
  • Responsible for quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Lead Internal Auditing Team to ensure business processes are robust and effective
  • Participate in new product releases to ensure first time product quality
  • Interact with the Customer Services Group to determine necessary steps to improve the customer’s experience relating to products and services
  • Interface with customer quality personnel with timely and effective responses to product quality issues as they arise
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A degree in engineering (ASQ Quality Engineer certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of Quality Team management experience
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills (written, oral)
  • Experience in delivering a superior level of service, support and insight in a Team atmosphere
