Job Description

On behalf of our World Class Manufacturing client we are recruiting for a Cost Analyst Associate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage cost reduction ideas through suppliers' productivity and efficiency enhancement
  • Engage internal buyers and suppliers to interpret process/product efficiencies that will reduce variable costs within Body/Raw Material commodities
  • Develop appropriate product specifications replicating the ideas from purchasing and updating discrepancies to achieve required function at minimum cost
  • Document data into a database and will report to finance and purchasing organizations
  • Participate in meetings and be exposed to price benchmarking, tear down activities and synergy activities
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor Degree (BA Business Administration) and related 1-2 years' work experience in cost or purchasing is highly preferred
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Suite, change templates if needed to allow data to be easily managed
  • Proficiency in data management, mining, and entry
  • Ability to multitask and follow up on repetitive tasks
  • Strong communication skills is a must to act as a liaison
  • Ability to troubleshoot
