Job Description

On behalf of our World Class Manufacturing client we are recruiting for an SAP Support Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the Indirect Purchasing Department in their transition from F&M to SAP systems
  • Work with suppliers and corporate accounts payable in resolving issues related to the SAP conversion
  • Coordination of multiple contract updates, data entry, and transactions within SAP. General purchasing tasks to support\buyers & suppliers
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor degree from an ABET accredited university
  • 0 - 3 years of related work experience
  • SAP MM / MDM / MDG functional or support experience is highly preferred. Must be able to interface with other regions, Information Technology Organization and the Purchasing customers for process and system corrections/enhancements, and will identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to use various communication tools, such as face-to-face, Google Hangouts, and Skype. Intermediate proficiency with G Suite / Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to analyze and generate documentation for business and technology processes / systems, coordinating and supporting purchasing project management, process, methods and systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate and train processes to Purchasing and internal and external customers as required.
  • Possible local travel or to other domestic locations 10-20%, May be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record
