Our client is an industry leader of international spirits and wines and is seeking a Sr. HR Specialist - Global Mobility to join their HR team.
Partner with local Human Resource Business Partners, Corporate HQ Global Mobility teams in all aspects relating to international expat assignments and international local package transfers to/from North America
Create guidelines for assignee's and local HR for the administration of global mobility policies as it pertains to corporate policy
Key point of contact for HQ and local HR Partner team regarding international assignments and international transfers to/from the United States and Canada, including: preliminary analysis of potential moves, cost estimates, gross to net calculations; contract and compensation worksheet preparation support; ongoing reporting and interaction
U.S. and Canadian Subject Matter Expert on visa and immigration matters. Responsible for overseeing the processing of new visas and renewals
Manage and coordinate expat assignment administration including the fulfillment of all contractual compensation, benefits and allowances, gross-up schedules for payroll
Expatriate employment costs: estimates/budget preparation and on-boarding of expats, actual spending follow up, including calculation/review of inter - company charges (inbound and outbound).
Liaise with expats & outside tax consultants: coordinate estimated tax payments, tax equalization review and assessment & tax filing process to minimize compliance risk
Vendor selection and management (e.g. RFP process, ongoing administration, budgeting and billing, Service Level Agreements set up and performance indicators tracking):
Expatriate and international locals’ destination services (e.g. house and school search, SS number application, etc.)
Tax orientation and filing preparation support
Services relates to ongoing Compensation processing and Compensations accumulation reporting for tax compliance
All domestic relocation services
Partner with Finance / Accounting in expense management for relocation & expats budgeting, including running various ad - hoc reports and analysis to support budget requests
