Job Description

Our behalf of our tier 1 injection molding client, ranked among the top three suppliers worldwide in the respective fields of Specialty Gaskets, Shielding Technology and Plastic Housing Modules/Elastomer Technology, we are currently recruiting for an experienced MRP Controller to join their team.


• Material Resource Planning of designated group of materials
• Responsible for procurement of raw material
• Responsible for production planning (work order quantity/timing/sequencing/etc.)
• Responsible for customer delivery planning
• Training and auditing of employees of the MRP Control area
• Correction of disposition master data in SAP/ERP systems
• Interaction with Supplier, Customers and internal Production and Logistics Department
• Logistics customer claims management
• Responsible for process key figures
• Prepare and maintain TS/ISO/N5 procedures to support the Shipping/Receiving Department
• To assist in meeting customer service goals and supply requirements
• Responsible for 100% on time deliveries
• Provide daily reports and Shipping schedules in a timely manner to support Production and Materials Activities
• Input/maintain data manual customer orders into the SAP System
• Maintain EDI/DDL and all Customer Communication on a daily basis and advise Materials Manager of any schedule/release changes
• Provide order entry for service and special orders; communicate with customers to confirm/verify schedules
• Work directly with the Production Planner to ensure customer requirements are met
• Back up to the Shipping Clerk
• Maintain NAFTA Certificates
• CTAP compliance
• Participate in physical inventories
• Communicate/co-ordinate issues involving Shipping/Receiving
• Provide general clerical support to the Materials/Production functions
• Ensure Company goals are met in terms of delivery performance requirements including paperwork, assignments, etc.


• Completed Bachelor’s degree in the field of Economics, Industrial Engineering or in a comparable field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in supply chain management, production planning or customer order scheduling
• Broad professional experience in supply chain and logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good interpersonal skills
• Flexibility in a dynamic environment
• Computer experience and working knowledge of Excel and Word in a Windows environment
• Knowledge of EDI/DDL Communication Systems or equivalent
• Experience with data entry within an MRP or SAP environment
• Knowledge of various customer websites eg Chrysler, GM SPO, DDC, Mercury Marine, Covisint, Hyundai, Navistar, Cummins, Caterpillar
• Materials Control or Scheduling background
