RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and drive DevOps best practices to ensure seamless development, deployment, and operational excellence
- Software Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale applications using modern frameworks (.NET Core, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, React, Angular)
- Architect and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and integration solutions (SOAP, HL7, FHIR, EDI, RabbitMQ, NServiceBus)
- Optimize database performance across SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing environments
- DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related tools
- Deploy, scale, and monitor applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, AWS Lambda, and Terraform
- Manage cloud services across Azure and AWS, including Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Blob Storage, and API Gateway
- Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead cross-functional development teams, ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Quality & Security
- Apply design principles (SOLID, DRY, OOP, design patterns) for maintainable, scalable solutions
- Ensure system compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, PHIPA, ITSM frameworks)
- Drive automated testing practices (XUnit, NUnit, MOQ) and performance optimization
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s in Computer Science (or equivalent 4-year degree recognized in Canada)
- Certified Enterprise Architect
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
- 15+ years in software development, with proven leadership in enterprise-scale projects
- Extensive experience in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD automation
- Strong technical leadership, hands-on coding ability, and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions
- Programming: C#, .NET Core, NETMVC, Web API, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, Angular, React, Node.js, Flutter
- Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Data Lake/Warehousing
- DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Functions, Service Bus, AKS, Logic Apps, App Services), AWS (Lambda, CodeDeploy)
- Integration: HL7, FHIR, EDI (X12, UB-837), SOAP, REST APIs, OAuth, SAML. TOGAF
- Trained Agile Scrum Master
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $80,000 - $100, 000 / year (depending on experience)
