Our automotive client is in search of a Project Management Team Lead (Tooling) to join their team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
- Resource planning in the assigned area
- Project management in the Competence Center Tooling
- Managing the project in terms of costs, deadlines and quality
- Building up suppliers as per client purchasing and quality rules
- Providing technical training to the project managers and the Tooling team leaders
- Standardizing the project management processes for toolmaking
- Standardizing additional resources, documents and instructions worldwide
- Creating quotation templates
- Checking any quotations created
- Acting as a point of contact for customers and the BUs, in particular with respect to costs, dates and process definitions
- Acting as a point of contact for local project matters and assisting with problems
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering Production or in a comparable field
- 2 years of professional experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge in Plastic Injection Molding processes
- Strong knowledge in Tooling/Mold making
- Knowledge of Robotics, Assembly and Testing equipment
- Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge in the design of assembly process and equipment, FMEA and project management
- Industrial engineering experience
- Experience with product introduction from concept through launch with respect to equipment, tool/mold and process development and design
- Knowledge of testing systems
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics and controls
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 40-60%
