On behalf of our civil infrastructure client, working on a large multinational project, we are currently recruiting for a Siphon Foundations Field Engineer to join their team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Quality by providing Quality oversight in their daily activities
- Perform construction engineering work requiring the application of standard construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in performing a sequence of related construction engineering tasks
- Assist craftsmen and foremen with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings
- Perform surveillance/examinations to ensure that the Quality objectives are being met for the project
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in the engineering field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience; a recognized certification or registration in the applicable field
- Roadwork drainage experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Construction Management degree or global equivalent
- Typically has three (3) years of project experience
- Ability to speak/read multiple languages
- Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets
