Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry


  • Day-to-day operations of the Driving Simulator supporting product development teams in subjective evaluations of Vehicle Dynamic models
  • Development and optimization of Suspension, Steering system kinematics and compliance requirements via the usage of the Driving Simulator
  • Provide subjective and objective assessment of the Vehicle Dynamic models
  • Development of SOP's, tools, and methodologies for enhancing the usage of the Driving Simulator


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited or equivalent program
  • 3 years of experience in vehicle dynamics simulation, preference to using ADAMS/Car and or CarSim
  • Experience in SAE or Capstone projects related to Vehicle Dynamics will be taken in account
  • Experience in computer programming and other automated data analysis tools (Matlab, Simulink, Python, etc.)
  • Must have competency with test and simulation techniques associated with Suspension, Steering system kinematics and compliance as well as full vehicle ride and handling
  • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle dynamics theory and application
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate activities with other functional group
  • Must have a valid driving license
  • · Must be legally eligible to work in Canada


  • Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited or equivalent program
  • Experience in the Driving Simulator environment
  • Experience with VI CarRealtime, VI DriveSim and SimWorkbench
  • Strong Data analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for senior management reviews
  • Technical aptitude for creation or analysis of objective test methods, metrics, and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, with good project planning skills
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date
