Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Design Release Engineer to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry.


  • Responsible for system design, development, and engineering release of structural frame components and assemblies along with executing a work plan to achieve the component and system-level functional objectives
  • Responsible for on-time delivery of components/systems from initial concept through vehicle launch. Includes working with multiple support groups (NVH, Vehicle Integration, Stress Lab, and CAE) to complete all validation and testing
  • Component design (FMEA), analysis (CAE)
  • Vehicle packaging, model/drawing integrity
  • Component validation (DVP&R), change management (CN)
  • Engineering bill of material (EBOM/CODEP)
  • Build support (company assembly plants and supplier plants)
  • Issue management (GIMs)
  • Fastened joint design
  • Assembly torque development


  • 3-5 years of experience in Chassis Suspension release engineering
  • Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R)
  • Knowledgeable in NX parametric design, Teamcenter release experience
  • Formula SAE experience a must
  • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) green/black-belt
  • Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
  • Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability


  • Windsor facility with frequent US meetings
