Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Infotainment & Connected Services Integration Engineer to join our team supporting our client in the Automotive Industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaboration on design, resolving implementation gaps, functional test and issue resolution of the system components, sub-systems and features
  • Communicate technical project status to management and key stakeholders
  • Work closely with development and spec teams to decipher the design details
  • Facilitate and manage workshops, dojos and triage activities
  • Support setup and issue triage for fleets such as reliability growth and fast feedback
  • Defect Management -- Participating in Standard Defect Management practices
  • Root Cause Analysis – Performing the first level of triage of a defect during testing.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or Engineering degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in System Integration
  • 1 years of experience with CAN
  • Linux/QNX/Command Line and/or Telnet
  • Ticket/defect management experience
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Fast Learner, clear, concise, precise communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to discern what issues need management escalation and when
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to think quickly and adeptly about how to effectively address issues when they arise, implement effective risk mitigation plans
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT or Engineering
  • Experience with CAPL
  • Experience and Knowledge with infotainment features
  • In-vehicle Connected Vehicle Application experience (i.e. cloud/SDP)
  • Expertise with programming languages, programming techniques and connectivity based software architectures analysis, design and development
  • Experience working with waterfall and agile development methodologies
NOTE:
  • Will be required to drive a company vehicle. A valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record
  • Will be required to travel domestically up to 20%
  • Onsite with some travel to the US for meetings
