Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mule Wiring Engineer to join our team supporting our client in the Automotive Industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Designing and releasing prototype wiring harnesses
  • Assessing and packaging harness design, providing a technical interface to the advanced team and working with designers to develop harness packaging and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with designers and support teams to ensure all necessary teamcenter tasks are completed
  • Attend design reviews/coordination meetings
  • Determine the wiring effect for bulletins and product plan changes
  • Provide electrical build support and troubleshooting onsite at the build shops
  • Design and release prototype wiring harnesses

  • Coordinate with designers and support teams to ensure all necessary teamcenter tasks are completed

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Other related technical degrees with relevant work experience may be considered.
  • A valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record
  • Engineer for Gateway development
    • CAN and network communication experience
    • Good communication skills
    • Must be able to coordinate global discussions with engineering teams in other regions, including gateway suppliers, to develop gateways for mule vehicle build
  • Systems Engineer
    • Overall vehicle electrical system and architecture experience
    • Communicate with teams in all regions in order to develop mule vehicle system for wiring and gateways
  • Wiring Design Engineer
    • Experienced wiring engineer
    • Must be able to use design tools, read schematics/wiring diagrams, and organizational skills
NOTE:
  • Remote with some travel to the US for meetings (only)
  • Future onsite position in the Windsor facility
