Job Description

On behalf of our pharmaceutical manufacturing client we are currently recruiting for an ERP Business Analyst to join their team in Scarborough, ON. This position will work with business operations and vendors to optimize process, analyze the various features of the business system, as well as offer support to the business users. The successful candidate will be translating business requirements into technology and process solutions.


Business Support

  • Support the Operations, Finance and Quality teams in all technology requirements
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and execution of business system strategies
  • Assist the business to document the functional and technical requirements
  • Assess and present solutions through use of all technical systems
  • Initiate and lead ERP related projects and provide day to day support
  • Coordinate with external partners including system vendors, WMS partner and third-party consultants
  • Assist all vendors and business in recreating anomalies and address the root cause and resolve issues
  • Provide analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and creative problem solving for business issues
Project Management
  • Apply appropriate project management oversight and discipline to business requests
  • Ensure a robust understanding of organization business initiatives and provide appropriate support, consultation, and guidance regarding ERP/ WMS modifications and enhancements
  • Act as SME in area of systems and technology in supporting any business initiatives
  • Act as ambassador for IT department and as an advocate for technology and ERP best practices
  • Prioritize, balance, multitask competing issues with deference to urgency, length of outstanding time and political sensitivity
  • Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as other teams
  • Other duties as required
  • Enforce business requests that affect ERP and Application environments following the defined processes for prioritization and visibility
  • Maintain, follow, and enhance as necessary, any appropriate SOPs for IT department
  • Support and enforce any IT related Policies
  • Working in compliance with the company’ s Health & Safety Policies/SOP’s including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure
  • Comply with all associated GxP Practices

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years various ERP platforms (preferably Tier 1 - e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards)
  • 3+ years of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Knowledge of QAD and/ or Deacom an asset
  • EDI knowledge, an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong business Acumen
  • Experience with Access, SQL, SharePoint
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve under pressure
