Job Description

On behalf of our World Class Manufacturing client we are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Reliability Engineer to join their team.


  • Deliver world-class reliability for new vehicle programs by combining engineering fundamentals with deep understanding of product development
  • Assist engineering in performing new program risk assessments to determine which proactive reliability tools should be applied to best mitigate that risk
  • Apply Proactive Reliability Process to future systems including DFMEA, Engineering Requirements, and test planning
  • Work with Engineering to identify lessons learned from field and test issues
  • Identify vehicle and system level test issues, perform reliability analysis of test data and develop validation recovery plans
  • Implement new reliability methods and accelerated testing to vehicle systems
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering - EE Preferred
  • 3+ years experience in Engineering, Engineering Quality, or Product Development within an Automotive company - Electrical Product Development preferred
  • Problem Solving Training preferred (Shainin Redx, Greenbelt, Blackbelt)
  • Good understanding of how Diagnostic Trouble Codes are defined and function to accurately analyze and root cause DTC’s and Cluster Warning Message being captured from Reliability Quality Fleet
  • Experience with CAN networking tools or DTC Readers (CDA, Vector, Vehicle Spy)
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and provide high level data summary
  • High level experience using Excel and PowerPoint to create weekly metric reports and understand the meaning behind them
  • Knowledge in G-Suite tools
  • Cross function role to collect information from system testing group and support vehicle testing
  • Must be self-starter, results driven to support software updates on and implement new process that improve software quality on vehicle test fleets
  • Able to lead team meeting and gather updates from test engineers and root cause teams
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle – valid driver’s license& clean driving record required
  • May be required to travel – domestic & international (0-20%)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
