Job Description

On behalf of our World Class Manufacturing client we are currently recruiting for a Powertrain METS Build Coordinator – Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will support the activities associated with the coordination of the build of the METS (Mobile Engine Test Stand) to facilitate the required dynamometer testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ER&D
  • Work with teams to determine the quantity of parts required during program roll-up to facilitate the budget
  • Determine how many of each type of part
  • Determine what type of part
  • After Program Approval provides a rate and flow cadence to the BICEE teams for part availability and delivery to support METS
  • Pre-Design Cart Set-Up
  • Gather the requirements for the creation of the METS schematics for the BICEE team
  • Order the required parts for Carryover components
  • Facilitate the requirements with the team for prototype components

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related area
  • 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Candidate must be self-starter with excellent written and communication skills
  • Must be able to multitask numerous programs going on simultaneously
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft office suite products
  • Knowledgeable in understanding part level changes within build phases

Preferred Requirements:

  • Certified mechanic
