Job Description

Our client is one of the world's leading suppliers of standard and specialty foods and the world’s leading producer in the business. They are recruiting for a Cost Clerk to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, review, analyze and maintain various reports
  • Maintenance of general and cost accounting records
  • Preparation of cost distributions
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Closing and balancing of ledgers
  • To verify computerized standard cost reports to accounting records
  • Analyze standard cost reports and identify variances for use by management in cost control and reporting
  • Prepare government reports
  • Reconciliations of ledger accounts
  • Review and analyze and prepare various reports
  • Assist in the resolution of discrepancies
  • Prepare A/P vouchers for disbursements
  • Any other related accounting work as required

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 year Business Accounting program from an accredited college and/or achievement of an Accounting Designation (CPA, CGA, CMA)
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • SAP platform experience would be a MUST
