Job Description

On behalf of our World Class Manufacturing client we are recruiting for a Vehicle Support Specialist.

  • Support dealership business model, tools and processes
    Ensure the internal dealership is paid for all warranty work in an accurate and timely fashion by preparing all warranty claims:
  • Process all claims by the next business day following repair order close date
  • Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy and legibility according to the policies and procedures and ensure appropriate labor times, operations, parts, and pricing is assigned to each repair
  • Stay informed on the release of all factory recalls, announcements, and procedures
  • Handle and resolve all claim corrections and charge-backs
  • Flag the technicians for the hours earned on the service they performed
  • Check each repair order against the vehicles service history to avoid duplicate claims
  • Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, reviewing all old claims, and address any adjustments or write-offs with Management and Shop Supervisor
  • Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies for maximizing claim process
  • Review and manage all aging schedules and reports
  • Complete Weekly/Monthly Cash Journal
  • Attend warranty training courses as needed
  • Track and report recall and rapid response transmittal completion status weekly
  • Track and maintain vehicle on-order report & communicate with international team ensuring quality preparation is completed prior to shipment
  • Willing to take on special projects, audits and reports as requested


  • High School degree, Associate degree preferred
  • General vehicle knowledge & understanding of dealership operations
  • Proficient with computer systems; including MS Office & Google applications
  • Can work in a fast-paced and challenging team environment handling multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently to analyze and solve problems and operate in a multi-tasking environment
  • Demonstrated organizational ability with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle - valid drivers license & clean driving record required

  • 2 years warranty administration, FCA Dealership
  • DNS MPK experience
