Job Description

Our client is a designer, manufacturer and global integrator of welding and assembly systems, material handling systems, industrial parts washers, leak test machines and final assembly systems. A challenging and exciting opportunity awaits you as a Compliance Quality Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate efforts, provide guidance and manage the flow of information related to the implementation and compliance to applicable regulatory requirements and conformance to customer specifications
  • Maintain and update the Quality Management System to reflect business objectives and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Provide support in establishing and maintaining the Internal Audit Program objectives and Internal Quality Audit Plan
  • Participate in and facilitate the applicable international, regulatory and customer external audits;
  • Determine the scope, purpose, departments and audit criteria for internal audits
  • Conduct and /or lead system, process and product internal audits focusing on all business units and all departments that affect the Quality Management System and business performance
  • Maintain audit records and prepare reports focusing on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, and the performance of the Internal Audit Program
  • Identify and record the risks related to the compliance program, determine the necessary steps to mitigate/control the risks and monitor the effectiveness of the resolutions
  • Provide support in establishing and maintaining the internal auditor training program, conduct training and raise the awareness for compliance and conformance to applicable regulatory standards
  • Maintain and manage all controlled documents and records related to policies, procedures, work instructions and forms
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required (Technical discipline preferred)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 19011:2018 and AS 9001 rev D, TSSA a must
  • Knowledge of Controlled Goods Program and ITAR regulations beneficial
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Compliance is required. Experience in audit planning, conducting audits, and preparing audit reports
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and disciplines
  • Knowledge of operations and business practices. Knowledge of the automotive industry is recommended. Experience in the machine tool industry is preferred
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel to any of the Company’s work locations in North America
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of the audit process
  • Exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with internal and external auditors
  • Ability to meet ITAR & CGP Clearance requirements
