MEDA Limited demonstrates it's commitment to providing quality service through continued ISO 9001:2000 certification. The annual audit was completed in JUNE, 2010 with outstanding results.

We will be preparing for the upgrade to ISO 9001:2008 during the next twelve months and will be audited to the new standard in May of 2010 through a two day Recertification Audit.

MEDA Engineering and Technical Services announces the GRAND OPENING of MEDA Technical Services LLC in Seguin, Texas. Due to the increase in business and the partnerships forged with organizations in this region it was a logical step to launch our latest MEDA Limited office.

MEDA has found that new ventures have assisted in the success of the company. For instance, in order to benefit employees operating out of the Toronto, Ontario region, a Mississauga office has been established to improve communication between MEDA and both our employees and clients located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). To improve and expand our services to larger clients in the United States, an office in Southfield, Michigan was created. In addition to additional offices, MEDA Limited has also put forth the effort to make our community a better place by creating MEDA Charitable Trust, an organization designed to recognize citizens who take the time to help improve our communities in numerous ways. We will be preparing for the upgrade to ISO 9001:2008 during the next twelve months and will be audited to the new standard in May of 2010 through a three day Recertification Audit.

MEDA Engineering and Technical Services is now an approved service provider for the low cost Manufacturing Productivity assessments in the Government of Ontario’s Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) SMART Program.

A SMART assessment through MEDA Limited can help you determine where improvements can be made to increase your productivity and reduce costs. Ontario pays 85% of the cost to a maximum of $6,000.00, while the company pays only 15% or $1,000., whichever is less.

When the assessment is done, and a project to make the recommended improvements is identified, MEDA will then help you apply for 50%, (to a maximum of $50,000.) of that project to be funded by SMART.

Ontario will be approving just 25 assessments this month, 25 more in January, and only 200 more for the remainder of 2009. Getting your application started ASAP is the first step to receive this valuable funding from Ontario.

Effective September 29th, 2008 the joint venture company Ricardo MEDA will be 100% owned and operated by MEDA. Recent shifts in business strategy coupled with a desire to server its customer base more efficiently have resulted in the move. Both Ricardo and MEDA are optimistic regarding the business's future and will cooperate to ensure absolute continuity and a seamless transition with their clients.

The company, operating under the name MEDA Engineering and Technical Services LLC., which remains located in Southfield, Michigan will continue to expand and develop its business and exceed customer expectation, while securing the long-term commitment to its many valued employees.
