Job Description


  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems from an accredited University is required


  • Ideal candidate MUST HAVE 3-5 years of experience in purchasing IT equipment, understanding the technical terminology
  • Exposure to licensing and security is preferred
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt, negotiate and manage a project(s)
  • Must be able to manage tactical workload while developing & implementing strategies and process improvements
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Power Point, Word) and web-based applications
  • Experience in SAP is not required, however would be an advantage
  • Strong Communication with all levels of management and peers, both internally and externally
  • May be required to drive a company car
  • Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record
  • May be required to travel domestically 10%


  • Supplemental support required for a resource to purchasing and negotiation IT equipment, supplies, and services from vendors
  • Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers
  • Other duties would be working with legal on contracts and licensing
  • The resource will be responsible primarily as a Software buyer but also provide some support with Material Handling Equipment leasing specialist – the person would interact with plants, controllers, treasury, finance and MLM folks (materials logistics mgmt.)
