As a Sales Insurance Broker for home and auto insurance, you will receive extensive paid training. This position is full time, approximately 37.5 hours a week. Skills and Requirements:
•Sales skills or strong desire to succeed •Ability to multitask on a phone and computer •Excellent communication skills •Self-motivated and driven •Positive and enthusiastic attitude •Desire to work in a dynamic team environment •Ability to stay calm under pressure •Manage inbound leads and customer relationships through the sales cycle of automotive and property insurance •Identify customer needs and create an effortless experience for customer •Manage customer calls and meet sales objectives •Use CRM to establish follow-up processes that ensure success •Develop and maintain auto and property insurance product knowledge expertise •Correctly input customer underwriting information into a quoting system •Generate a premium estimate and discuss product and price options with the client •Sell the policy based on the features of the product and the company •Answer inquiries about coverage, deductibles, processes, claims, etc.
Education •University degree, college diploma or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience is preferred but not required
Training During the first two weeks of employment, new hires receive Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) specific training. This training course is designed to prepare employees for the RIBO licensing exam. Further personal development training in sales related areas will continue after the exam.
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 pm for the first 6 weeks. After this time must be flexible and available to work in between the following hours: 8:30 am to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday once per month from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
